My personal testimonial starts like this. I was convinced by one of the Officers Tig to server transfer over to Uldum to join DN. This was after many conversations in vent with them and just general BSing. Once I joined I could not be happier. Whatever you want to do in the guild, that activity is usually happening. Whether that be a group for daily quests so the healer doesn't have to spend 4 hours killing 2 mobs. Daily heroics with the guildies, raiding, vent chat, or just general helping each other out. Hell the only thing lacking is PVPing but there has been talk of groups starting up for rated BG's. In DN I have noticed there is not a lot of selfishness like what I found in my previous guilds. What I mean by that is, if someone needs an enchant and people have the mats usually its free not questions asked. My personal experience with DN has been great and I have finally found a place I don't dread logging onto. Thank you every member of DN for being there and adding to my get away from the daily grind, and adding depths and fun to my gaming experience.
I've recently dived headfirst into WoW after a rough breakup, and this guild has been one of the best possible things for me. Although I've been playing this game since its origin, I've never been welcomed into a guild by EVERY single member that's online (16+? Pretty sure you were raiding.); it may have been slightly annoying, but it was a damned good way to put a smile on my face. You guys are friendly, active (Even a few early birds chat with me in the morning), and selfless when it comes to gemming/enchanting/gearing for raids. This guild is the closest thing I've found to my BC raiding days with Uprizing, whereas I feel welcomed into a family. I couldn't be happier about being brought into the guild, and am looking forward to a long stay with you all.
I joined Dawning Nemesis in June of 06 I believe. I think I had just turned level 60 when someone recommened that I check them out even tho they had been recently removed for not passing the vote lol. When I first joined, everyone made me feel welcome, they helped me out with whatever I needed, and the other warlocks freely gave there tips and secrets to being the best I could at my class. I remember haveing to prep for raids in vanilla, and for those that do not know, if you where a warlock, prepping meant goint and farming a shit ton of soul shards. Most warlocks hated that, well, I have to admit, I really didnt like it either but it was made a lot easier becuase people in the guild where willing to help out. In these 5 years, that has not really changed all that much. That is a big part of DN. We are not only here to get our gear and have our fun, but also to help others with there needs, whether it be gear, pots, food, enchants or gems. I will say that the helpfulness has improved tho over the years, it used to be that Fernis had to offer incintives for people to give, but now, we have people like Tig, or Kart and Vic who will freely give anythinkg they have to help you out. They have got down the last item on the basic concepts of DN, It is not about what Dawning Nemesis can do for you only, but what you can bring to the Dawning Nemesis environment for all those that play. This is one of the reasons I am still here, you will not find any other raiding guild that will help you out this much. But I am also here becuase when I am on or off the game, DN feels like family, ever since that fan faire I went to. Wonder if fernis still has that dagger...
